Let The Season Begin…

With a sunny weekend and junior football leagues restarting, one of our parents took this photo, showing 3 of ours teams (Pythons, Bears, Pumas) playing at the same time on Saturday morning, at St Mary’s Park. They were subsequently followed by the Lightnings, Raiders, Dynamos and Lions. So good luck to all our teams and let the football re-begin…

Thanks to Mark and Dan for marking out the pitches ahead of the games on Friday night

Development Classes Restart

Trophies, Social Media, Development, AGM and other news

Not much news reports of late, but plenty of activity at the club
Over the last few months we’ve seen 2 teams win their league cups and 6 teams win summer tournaments and we’ve only just started the holidays!

We’ve also created a player wanted page to highlight teams needing players for the forth coming year and a new twitter account associated with the club, @Marauders_1972 NOT to be confused with @maraudersJFC or @marauders1972 (note slight difference), who are now no longer associated with the club.

As the Development classes break for the summer, we’ll be starting again late August to prepare for moving back inside in September. Keep an eye out on the website and twitter feed for dates when we start back.

Additionally, one of the managers was pointed out, some new refereeing rules for the coming season EMJFL will be using these and no doubt other leagues. Make sure your teams are aware of any changes.

Finally, a big thanks to all the managers, coaches and other parents who help out the teams and club.

Don’t forget our AGM this Tuesday

Have a good summer break
