Lions lost to chadderton
Lions starting off great with some good passing Which led to us going in front with a great pass from dj to Jamie who slotted home to make it 1-0. Chadderton then scored 3 with us hitting the post and there keeper making a few good saves.  Second half started and we was asleep for the first 5 minutes and they scored again. We had a few more chances hitting the bar and players blocking it on the line. They broke twice more and scored both times to make 6-1. We scored a great goal from a corner that was straight off the training ground. Rocco to Jamie with then crossed to dj to tap home. Going to be a hard few months for the boys going from 5×5 to 7×7 in the top section. Motm Kayden kept the score line down in net when we was looking to get back in the game.
Raiders lost to Miam Miam.
Probably the best team we have played. Went 2-0 down to bring it back to 2-2, half time we were 4-3 down, three very late goals made the score line worse than the lads deserved. Lots to work on for the lads, positive from their managers commenting we had pushed them further than any other team so far. Motm Kian fantastic performance in net.
Kestrels beat Boothstown.
Depleted due to injury, illness and unavailability the team pulled off a great win with some brilliant football. Goals from Keane (2), Raquami (2), Joe and Wilson showed we can score despite last week’s anomaly. Strong displays all round, Ethan back on terrier duty in midfield, iron-man Myles taking a sickening blow to the jaw late on just kept on going. Nathan super in goal in the first half keeping things low scoring. Keane MOTM, great goals, a late stint as keeper during opposition power play showed he’s ace at either end. Well done boys!
Wildcats Beat Sale Utd
Fantastic result for the girls in their 2nd ever 9v9.
Not playing the biggest ever team, but they had commitment. Started strongly in the first half with by putting 8 away with no answer back. Some great midfield work by Jeff and new girl Fran kept us camped more or less in their half, Renee was amazing on the right wing with Adanze showing much promise on the left, but to be honest we still missed sitters and could of been up by 10+. Second half saw me change the team around to get girls playing in different positions also to give Sale a fighting chance. We went on to score 3 more, but conceding 4 in the process. Still a lot of work to do on positions and shooting from distance,, but goals from Talia(4) Heather (2) Italia(2), Adanze, Jeff, and on her debut Fran rounded off a good game.
Opposition MoTM Adanze.

Falcons beat Hindsford Kings.
Excellent team performance against a team of giants!!  Double hat trick from Ollie and a hat trick from Max…..
Alti Hawks Beat Sapphires.
Sapphires were superb today. The girls dominated the 1st half & went 1-0 up with a superb finish from Ellie from distance. Great passing and movement, solid defending & a couple of breathtaking saves from Nyeleti, but a good moves from Alti saw them equalise on the stroke of half time. 2nd half saw much of the same, however Altrincham went in front with a fluke 2nd goal which came from a clearance from inside their half which sailed into the top corner. More good play from the Sapphires saw them nearly equalise a couple of times, but with a soft penalty given against us and it was 3-1. As the girls pushed hard to get back into the game, Altrincham nicked another on the break. Full credit to the girls, they kept working hard, passing & moving confidently, closing down quickly & tackling tenaciously to the very end, and were unlucky not to get on the scoresheet again. Every single member of the team did themselves proud today, they played like a true team and they all deserve a very big pat on the back. They played very well against an extremely competent opposition.
MoTM:- Ellie
Pumas beat Seedfield Sports Club Pumas.
The Pumas continue to enjoy their progression in to the 7v7 format with another show of strength, some good passing and precision finishing. A solid all round team performance with goals from Alex (2), Harley, Fraser and two for birthday boy, and Captain for the day, Joseph, the second of which a well struck free kick after picking himself up from a foul just outside the box. MotM to Joseph for leading his team well today.
