Bridgewater beat Kestrels.
A game of two very different halves today. A very sluggish defensive start and a boggy, heavy pitch led to us going down very early to some avoidable goals. We found it hard to recover and the first half finished 6-0! A chat at half time and a slight switch around saw us begin to claw back some ground thanks to the kind of dynamic and lively football we’re used to playing. We got the score back to 6-4 before they took advantage of our attacking commitment and scored another. We had one late reply and given 5 more minutes could have turned it around but it finished 7-5. Man of the Match today was Ethan. Brilliantly energetic and brave defensive display.

Raiders beat Walshaw Allstars.

The Magic of the Cup! A super game and a cracking start to this years cup campaign for Raiders. Big thanks to Ant Rooney at Walshaw for getting the game switched indoors early in the week. Top bloke, top coach. Two talented, organised and fully committed junior sides. Both teams looking to play the ball, and equally strong in every challenge. Raiders never behind and Walshaw never letting go, pressing all the way to the final whistle. Man of the match to Kian for two first half goals followed by a brilliant second half display between the sticks. Well done Raiders
