Loins beat Pennine black
What a game to watch.
Lions started off slow and couldn’t get out of our own half for the first 5 minutes of the game but we manged to keep them out with some good defending. We then came into game and had one or two chances but they hit us on the break and scored two goals. Sam then made two good saves in only his second game ever. We then started to play a bit more and got a good goal back from Kayden with his left foot. Second half and we told the boys to defend as a team and not to worry about being a goal down.  Ten minutes passed with not many chances made then rocco made it 2-2 with a good left foot dig. We then worked hard again keeping them out with Sam making two great saves. We broke for a third and Final time and found the winner with rocco yet again scoring a great goal.  Last ten minutes we defended as a team and kept them out. All played well second half defending from the front with dj doing a great pressing job up top. Motm Finlay right back all game and didn’t put a foot wrong strong on and off the ball.
Raiders beatElton and Walshaw Cougars.
Another highly entertaining performance from Raiders, the difference this week we took an early lead and kept it, despite Elton refusing to lie down. Great contributions from all of the boys with 5 individuals finding the net. Special mention for Ollie who stepped up to have a strong first period between the sticks, and Tyler who sured things up in defence in the closing stages. Man of the match to Josiah for listening to very specific instructions and carrying them out to a tee. Well done Raiders!
Pumas beat Elton and Walshaw Alleycats
Strong, organised and growing in confidence – another solid performance from Pumas with all the squad contributing well. Great to see our new no.8 starting to pass the ball around, two goals and a lovely back heel to get himself out of a spot of bother  – a joy to watch today. Man of the Match to birthday boy James who continues to bring a high tempo to each game whether playing through the middle or in a wide position. Happy birthday James!
