Lions
Pm lions Beat fc strikers
Pm lions Beat  turton.
Last week’s wake up call worked great for the lions. Great football from start to finish and all played as a team passing the ball around like Barcelona at times. Two great goals each for Marcel Kayden and Owen with Jaime scoring the best with a first time strike in off the post from out side the box on the turn. Motm dj scored one and made a few with his strength up top and  his link up play.
 Hawks Beat Hindsford Diamonds
Close game very well matched, everyone doing their part again, full credit to the Hindsford team. MotM Kayden for his skills, tricks and continued determination driving forward in the 2nd half.
Kestrels lost to Bury Juniors Hawks
A very unlucky  loss for the Kestrels today. Great resilience, desire and passion from all involved. Desperately unfortunate not to win. Created lots of chances and a few goal-mouth scrambles where we couldn’t quite get it over the line. Nothing to be dispirited about. Proud of everyone today. MOTM to Ethan, kept everything ticking over, scored a nice goal and never gave up. Lots of players in contention though. There’s always next week!
Pumas
Pumas Beat Bridgewater Galaxy
Pumas Lost to Boothstown Eagles
Two competitive fixtures for Pumas, both enjoyable games. Reverted to a more attacking formation of last season and certainly helped create more chances. A very solid display in defence from James and MotM to Fraser for putting in a strong performance in midfield.
Raiders Beat Bridgewater Bulls
Raiders move through to the next round of the cup following a convincing win. The boys acquitted themselves very well from the start and looked comfortable throughout. MOTM went to Tyler for covering every blade of grass on the pitch and some excellent tackling and passing.
Wildcats Lost to Golbourne
Didn’t play as the team we know they can play as. Some great fragments of football but we needed to be together for 60mins.
Jeff’s goal from a free kick was quality. Talia’s left foot strike for her first was special and Sophia’s keeping was acrobatic and saved us from a possible double-digit scoreline. Opposition MOtM to Sophia F
Managers MOtM split between Talia and Lilly for their tackling, running and commitment to the cause.
Sapphires Beat Ramsbottom Girls
Brilliant team performance from the u10 girls this morning on St Mary’s.  Hat trick hero and captain Gracie Red lead the team by example. Talia with 2. Also on the score sheet for the first time in their playing careers were Lilly and  Kinyemi. Fantastic set ups for some of these by Libby, Jess and Issy from team play. We passed with vision, they tackled like demons and pressed the opposition into making mistakes. Work from Wednesday training was used today to its fullest and it showed with end result. Opposition MOtM Talia
Manager MOtM shared between Captain Gracie Red and a much improved Sophia B.
Tigers drew with with Pennine Juniors Whites.
A game in which the Tigers should have won, dominating from start to finish.  MOTM for the opposing team the goal frame.
MOTM Ronan.
