‘The warriors were invited down to accrington Stanley this evening after a good few months of football to face the u7s development squad. They did me and the parents proud and were a credit to the club. We scored some great goals and the boys held there own for large parts of the game against some good ability kids. It was a great experience for the boys and as you can see they were still smiling at the end.’ (Feb 2020)

‘The warriors have just played in their Cup final. Out of 30 teams the boys came runners up. The final game ended 1-1 and they lost on penalties 6-5. Well unlucky not to to win. I couldn’t be anymore prouder of them. Especially the two year 2 players playing up a year who show no fear.’ (Dec. 2020)

I couldn’t be any prouder of this group of boys. From the first to the last whistle they were unbelievable. Some of the football at times is top draw and the praise from other coaches just shows how good they are. 18 goals scored in 8 games and only 1 conceded. JP in net made 3 brilliant saves with one of them in the final which the boys won 1-0 to bring the trophy home. Definitely deserved for all the hard work and determination that the boys put in. It couldn’t have been a better ending to the day. Well done boys on another fantastic achievement – Stewart (July 2022)
knew it was going to be a tough game as Collyhurst play good football and have some very strong players. The boys dug deep and defended from the front not letting Collyhurst have any shots on target all game. We didn’t create many chances ourselves to be honest but with 10 minutes left on the clock we broke away with pace and power and George latched onto a through ball and neatly tuck it away in the corner from the edge of the box.The boys went wild as they knew they had worked hard for that opener. We then had to defend for a good 5 minutes as Collyhurst threw everything at us but the boys stood strong yet again blocking every attempt and winning every 50/50. Then just like the first goal we broke away with pace and with some neat one twos put George one on one with their on rushing keeper. He spun the ball around him ( even I don’t know how he did it ) in to the far corner and the boys went wild. They knew they had won it again; with only seconds to go. Fantastic achievement to win another cup but to do it playing a year up (Archie 2 years) is something a bit special so very well done and very well deserved – Stewart (July 2022)
