About Prestwich Marauders FC

Prestwich Marauders FC was formed in 1972 to provide football for young people in Prestwich and Whitefield.

The club now has approximately 200 players in around 18 teams, and has three sites; St Mary’s Park and Sparks Field in Prestwich and Sandgate Field (behind our partner club Prestwich Heys AFC) in Whitefield.

Players from five-years-old have the chance to progress with the club from our development sessions, right through to potentially play for our partner club Prestwich Heys AFC at semi-professional, non-league level.

We are very proud to be the only junior club in Prestwich to provide that opportunity for young people.

We have around 50 FA and/or UEFA qualified football coaches, running our teams and providing development training for children at the very start of their football journeys.

As much as we want playing success, development and enjoyment are the biggest pre-requisites at this club.
