The modest price rise for this season is roughly in line with the Retail Price Index - a measure of inflation in the UK, that reflects the average change in prices of goods and services.
This reflects the rising costs to the club for everything it pays for (including hire of 3G training venues in winter), and it is planned that future rises will also be guided by RPI, to cover increases.
This season teams will get kits for all their match-playing players. The financial impact of this has been planned over two seasons to reflect the lifespans of the kits.
We have been able to analyse how much each team brings in and costs the club, so fees have been decided with a high degree of accuracy based on the leagues those teams enter.
Once again fees will be different for teams in grass pitch leagues (playing at home and away venues) compared to those in central venue leagues (ones that play at one 3G venue every week).
This is due to the balance in costs and incomes for the teams in the different leagues - central venue leagues have higher fee costs, on average, than grass pitch leagues.
Parents/guardians can choose to pay fees in a one-off amount, or spread the cost over nine monthly instalments.
