It was great to see the club heavily involved in this year's Prestwich Carnival, as we strive to be at the centre of our community.

Hurricanes under-nines girls won their football tournament on the Saturday, followed by our players taking part in the grand parade on Sunday.

During the parade, the kids handed out stickers and flyers to the crowds lining the streets and spread the word about the club. 

Thanks to all the volunteers, particularly Lois' mum Lindsey (who will hate being mentioned) and Hurricanes manager Justin, plus various parents/guardians and other club coaches, who made it possible. 

There are some lovely memories to cherish.
